Vantage 2025 – A year defined by fundamental strength

India’s growth story feels calmer, steadier, and more convincing. The economy is no longer relying on one or two pockets to carry momentum. Growth is being supported by cooler inflation, improved income visibility, and policy decisions that are starting to be reflected in everyday economic activity. The Union Budget has maintained its focus on long-term priorities while also prioritizing near-term growth. GST reforms are making consumption more affordable and the system more efficient, and the RBI’s actions are helping ensure that credit continues to flow when it is needed most. What stands out this time is how widely the benefits are spreading. Rural markets are showing signs of life, smaller cities are driving a growing share of consumption, and seasonal spending around festivals and weddings is adding a meaningful boost to demand. With the 8th Pay Commission on the horizon and confidence gradually returning among households and businesses, the growth cycle feels less fragile and more rooted. Taken together, these trends suggest that India is not just growing faster, but growing in a way that is more balanced, resilient and sustainable.
