In the past 12 months the world witnessed several Black Swan events, starting with Brexit, choice of Trump as US President, a 39-year-old winning the presidential election in France, the of the recent UK polls, and of course two major events related to India – the Demonetisation Champions Trophy finals. These events and many more have a message – there is nothing called “predictable” and statisticians have to rework the Probability Theory.
