Knowledge Community @ Ambit is an internal Learning and Development initiative, which involves knowledge sharing sessions among business groups on various topics of relevance. In addition to helping employees keep abreast of happenings in diverse areas around them, these cross-functional training sessions also inspire bonding across different teams.
Training: Employee training programs or initiatives are an integral part of the HR vision and long-term strategic objectives of our Firm. Recognizing that our people are our greatest single resource, the Firm is dedicated to providing high quality training to employees through professional expert talks and well-known facilitators. Based on the identified training needs, the Firm offers a variety of training programs and development opportunities.
Rewards and Recognition
At Ambit, recognition and rewards not only come by way of promotions, bonuses and awards but through a variety of vehicles. Every deal is celebrated publicly through congratulatory emails from management and senior leadership. As a result of this, the entire atmosphere buzzes with a feeling of success.
Long Service Awards: Ambit considers that it is important to acknowledge and reward employees who have served for a long tenure. Employees who have completed ten, fifteen and twenty years of service are presented with the long service award in recognition of their commitment and loyalty to the organization.
Star Awards: Ambit Star Awards celebrate those employees who lead by example. Our star awards revolve around the core eight values of Ambit.
Transparency: Interventions like regular Town halls by our Group CEO, a transparent Appraisal process etc. create an atmosphere of transparency across levels and facilitates two-way communication.
Ambit maintains an open door policy, which is non-hierarchical and transparent in nature. Various platforms are created to provide opportunities for interaction with the Leadership team.
Town Halls – Sessions with our Group CEO on a quarterly basis where business updates are shared and suggestions are encouraged. This is a forum where our CEO answers any concerns employees may have and also shares the Management’s plans for the coming quarter.
Employee Engagement Survey -As part of our endeavour to be an employer of choice and also identify our developmental areas, we internally conduct an employee pulse survey to understand our employees - what motivates them to go the extra mile, what drives loyalty and what genuinely makes and keeps them happy.
The findings of the survey are shared transparently with all business heads and various interventions are implemented.
Insight is our in-house e-newsletter, which is published bi-annually. It acts as a window to the group-wide activities in a light-hearted manner; in which employees also contribute stories & share their personal joys. It also serves as a business communication on our various business lines for the half year gone by.
AmbitHR: Our intranet portal ‘AmbitHR’ is a common window for companywide news and events as well as various applications. It provides a common interface to all the employees to access the various HR tools, engaging reading material, platform to share their pictures and videos and also cheer/like/comments on images/videos uploaded by their colleagues.
Health & Wellness
Health Initiatives: To encourage health consciousness in today’s busy life, we organize a lot of sessions revolving around employee mental and physical wellbeing. We organize sessions with renowned medical practitioners, dieticians and counsellors for our colleagues.
Keeping in mind how important mental wellbeing is, we have also empaneled counsellors and have various interventions that our employees can avail to be open and speak on any issue they may face. All in an anonymous way.
Sports and Fun Initiatives
Sports and Fun Initiatives: These councils are By the Employees and For the employees. Sports being a key engagement activity at Ambit, apart from male enthusiasts, we have actively encouraged and watched our female employees participate in our annual Cricket Tournament. We also organize regular indoor tournaments as well.
Celebrations: Ambit truly believes in encouraging fun at work. These activities take place in the form of Birthday celebrations, women’s day, Independence Day quiz, founder’s day, off sites/ out bounds, festival and special occasions/celebrations and monthly team get-togethers.
Always running, always on the go and keeping employees motivated. The management leads from the top – jet lagged or even a broken shoulder after playing cricket - nothing stops Ashok from running.
